What I actually do
Psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy, by telehealth. Children, adolescents, adults, and families — I am board certified across the lifespan (PMHNP-BC), so the age of the patient is never the reason I turn a referral away. Anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, substance use, and behavioral concerns — psychiatric care across the lifespan, not a narrow slice of it.
Psychotherapy is within a psychiatric nurse practitioner's scope and is part of the care here. If your patient is already working with you, I'm not there to take that over. I add what I can and keep you in the loop.
What you can expect from me
- Your patient stays yours. They go right back to the work they're doing with you. Referring to me should never cost you the relationship you've built.
- You'll hear what I'm thinking. With the patient's written authorization, I'll tell you what I started, what I changed, and why — in language you can use in your next session, not a wall of pasted chart text.
- Context before conclusions. I read what you send. Fourteen years inside behavioral health settings — outpatient, residential, rehab, detox, IOP, PHP — taught me that the history matters more than the checklist.
- Straight answers about fit. If someone isn't right for telehealth medication management, or needs a higher level of care, I'll say so and say it early.
For treatment programs
Rehab, detox, residential, IOP, and PHP: I work with programs as a prescriber for your patients. Evaluation, medication management, and coordination with your clinical team.
I don't sell program-level consulting, curriculum, or operational advisory. If that's what you need, I'm not your person, and I'd rather tell you now than three emails from now.
The honest status
The practice is not open yet. Licensure is active in Arizona, Idaho, and Oregon. Insurance credentialing is in progress and not complete.
Before you send anyone, I'll confirm directly with you what payment options are available at that time. You should never have to guess about that on your patient's behalf, and I'd rather lose a referral than surprise one of your clients with a bill they weren't expecting.
Nothing of value is offered or exchanged for referrals — no fees, no gifts, no revenue sharing, no free services for volume. Referrals here are a clinical decision, and that's the only thing they should ever be.
